Terms & Conditions

Your use of the www.daychaser.co.za website is subject to the terms and conditions (T&C’s) below. By registering, or using the DayChaser website, you recognise that you’ve read and accepted these T&C’s. These T&C’s apply to all orders made on the www.daychaser.co.za website for the sale and supply of products. The T&C’s include our Delivery and Returns policies.

Who we are

The DayChaser website is owned by Uruz Fitness Solutions (Pty) Ltd, with registration number 2015/260799/07 and P.O address 92781, Norwood Johannesburg 2117.

Any legal notices can be sent to the above address.

Buying our products

www.daychaser.co.za enables you to shop for products which include clothing, clothing accessories and other products online.

When you have completed an order and payment for the product and delivery costs has been processed, a binding contract between you and DayChaser comes into effect. In the unlikely event that we are unable to supply the product on order at the advertised price because stock is sold out, we will contact you to let you know and you will be entitled to a refund at the value that you paid for such product/s.
Your order will only become complete once we have received payment and have confirmed the availability of stock. If you confirm an order on the website but do not make payment within 24 hours, this will not be a sale or an order.

Please note that payments from some banks may take more than 2 business days to reflect in our account and we will only be able to confirm the order once we can confirm that we have received your payment.

Cancelling orders (by DayChaser)

Sometimes we may be required to cancel orders and we reserve the right to do so. DayChaser may refuse to provide products or services to you if we are unable to verify or authenticate any information you provide to us. If we do so, we will let you know and we will be responsible for reimbursing you the amount you paid if you have already paid for the order The Provider reserves the right to cancel an order for which payment has already been received. This may occur if stock is insufficient or the quality of goods ordered does not meet the Provider’s standards. Should the Provider exercise this right, you will receive a full refund with no deductions.

Cancelling orders (by you)

You have the right to cancel an order after you have made payment by letting us know via email. For orders cancelled before we have dispatched the item for delivery, you will be refunded your payment after a deduction of a 15% handling fee. For orders cancelled after dispatched for delivery, please see Returns Policy.

Delivery Policy

DayChaser uses external courier companies to deliver its products within South Africa. The courier companies usually operate from Monday to Friday and deliver between normal business hours. The goods are delivered to the address you specify in the checkout process. DayChaser will not dispatch any goods for delivery prior to receiving payment for the delivery costs.

When your goods are dispatched for delivery, we will usually provide you with a tracking number for the courier company as well as a number which you may call for following up on your order. Orders are usually only delivered to physical address and not P.O Box addresses unless prior specific arrangements are made and agreed to by us. For very remote areas not serviced by standard couriers The Provider will deliver via Post Office. In these circumstances the Provider will be in contact with you to arrange an alternative address. If we or the courier company are unable to deliver at the specified location, we will inform you and may require you to provide us with an alternate address for delivery, or we may cancel the order.

We aim to deliver within the fastest possible time and we usually aim for you to get your goods not later than 6 working days from the date that we have confirmed receipt of your payment. If we foresee that we are unable to meet to the delivery date, we will try our best to let you know but we will not be liable or responsible for any damages, charges or expenses arising out of late delivery.

On delivery of the Product, you may be required to sign for delivery. You must properly inspect the Product for any obvious faults, defects or damage before you sign for delivery. It is your responsibility to ensure that the Products are sufficient and suitable for your purposes and meet your individual requirements.

Please note that any fees paid for delivery are non-refundable.

Lost Package

If you cannot track your goods using the tracking number provided, you are welcome to contact us by emailing info@daychaser.co.za so we can try to locate the goods and have it delivered to you. If the goods are lost, we will contact you to make arrangements to replace your order, or reimburse you for the product and delivery fee.

Returns Policy

If the below terms and conditions are not met, under no circumstances will the exchange or refunds be valid.

Returns (refunded, exchanged or cancelled)

If on receiving your order you are not delighted with your purchase, you may return it to DayChaser within 5 working days of delivery and receive a refund for the product. If an additional shipping fee was charged for the item at the time of purchase, the cost of the delivery will not be refunded. You can opt to receive a refund, or have the product replaced. To make arrangements to have the item returned, please contact returns@daychaser.co.za. Please take note of the below points for items that are to be returned:

  • An exchange must be formally submitted within 5 working days of delivery
  • If an exchange is not submitted within 5 working days your return will not be valid
  • All tags should be attached to garments, in original packaging, unworn (except for trying on), undamaged, and are in sale condition.
  • No exchanges/returns are allowed for items on SALE unless otherwise stated

Refunds will only be processed once we have received and inspected the returned product and confirm that the product  does not fall within the non returnable list below.

Items which cannot be returned (non returnable list)

The following items and products supplied by us are non-returnable:

  • Products which have been abused, neglected or misused.
  • Any other product which you have altered, disassembled.
  • Products that have used contrary to our or the manufacturer’s instructions for the Product
  • Products which you have attached, joined or combined with other goods.
  • Products used, washed or deteriorated through normal wear and tear
Defective Items

DayChaser does its best to ensure that the products are of a high quality. All products supplied in South Africa can be exchanged or refunded if they are defective.

Examples of defective items are but not limited to:

  • Marks, stains, and blemishes (caused during manufacturing or packaging process)
  • Sewing or manufacturing flaws.
  • Missing or broken hardware (clips, fasteners, rings, etc.).
  • Incorrect indicated size

You can opt to receive a refund, or have the product exchanged. We urge you to contact returns@daychaser.co.za and we will advise you accordingly.

Please note that refunds or exchanges will only be processed once we have received and inspected the returned product and confirmed that the product is in fact defective and does not fall within the non returnable list above. If the product is defective, we will replace or refund the product at our expense.

Warranties and Guarantees (by you)

You warrant your identity (ie you are who you say you are) and that you can prove your identity should we require you to do so.

You must keep your login name and password confidential and not share this with anyone or allow others to use it. We will automatically assume that any access to the site with the use of your login name and password on the website is made by you.

You guarantee that all information you provide to us via this website is true and correct.

You also guarantee that you have fully disclosed all material information to us. Any incorrect disclosure by you may lead to the contract or any transactions arising from the contract being rendered void.
Electronic transactions, your Personal Information and Privacy
When you register an account, conclude a purchase, visit the site or send an email to us, you agree to get electronic communication from DayChaser. As with other forms of electronic communication, using the DayChaser website is sometimes subject to risks, and by doing so you accept the risk of choosing electronic communication as the channel to be utilised between you and DayChaser.

We take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information and maintain confidentiality, including the use of encryption technology. However, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us online and you do so at your own risk.

What we use your personal info for?

We will use and store your personal information to help personalise your customer experience,improve our stores and to supply products. In addition, we may use your information for:

Controlling accessibility to the website and to ease your purchase;
To process your orders and to communicate with you regarding any order placed by you or under your account and to ensure you receive the products you order;

DayChaser is committed to providing you with the best possible service. However, we are not responsible for interrupted, delayed or failed transmission, storage or delivery of information due to causes beyond our control.

We are also not responsible for inaccurate or inadequate information obtained from the website  and inaccurate information supplied by you.DayChaser will not be held responsible for any loss or accountability of any kind that arises from the use of www.DayChaser.co.za website, its services or content.

While DayChaser makes every effort to ensure that the information is accurate and up to date, we make no representations or warranties about the suitability of the products that appear nor about the soundness of the content on the website.

All information, including products and services or any terms or conditions pertaining to them, is subject to change at any time. All services and products provided via this website are subject to confirmation at the time of the finalising any transaction. Some of our information is derived from external sources. We are not responsible for the incorrect information received from these external sources.

Applicable Law

www.daychaser.co.za is managed and run from the Republic of South Africa and as such is governed by South African law. You acknowledge and agree that any dispute in relation to any product, service or offering on www.daychaser.co.za is subject to the jurisdiction of a recognised South African legal forum or court.
